The Olympic swimming pool was closed for men – it was women’s hour and we didn’t bother waiting – so we went to the Black sea for a nice and warm swim instead, after gathering some sea shells at the sea shore which we didn’t sell. Stef got the news his Iranian visa was arranged in Brussels with his older passport he left at home, and the other three received their Iranian visa from the Trabzon embassy. Happy that we were all accepted into this country, we left the city and cycled together with four for the first time since Sinop. Georgia was on our mind now.
We received news that Yuri’s parents would be visiting us in Yerevan in Armenia in a few weeks, so it was time to go. Christmas in Batumi, New Year in Tbilisi, snowboard in Gudauri and then on to Yerevan. We are looking forward to the coming weeks!
While Anton and Yuri were buying groceries, Oli and Stef found a place to sleep in a car dealer’s garage. For the first time since long we cooked some good ol’ spaghooters Bolognese for the next morning, as the owner of the garage filled our stomachs with clementines and hazelnuts this evening.
